This large scale work on paper is one of two that anchored the exhibition 'Poems for Independence'. They continue my exploration in landscape, spirituality, iconography, and poetry.

​​​This work explores personal stories about self, love, and loss – and finding steadfastness in the lands and skies that stand with us. Recurring motifs in my practice are revisited in the work, including the orb, cruciform, textual marks, and ethereal figures, with a new radiant form emerging from above.
