Process
The drawing brings together recurring elements in my recent works: the orb (as moon and sun); poetry and suggestions of drawn text; and the body, exposed and expansive.
Notably, the cruciform geometry, which is also a figure on the horizon, and the glowing orb which rains from within the ribcage.
These elements hold a kind of mystery, and become motifs that gather meaning for me - and others I hope - over time without being explicit.
