Process
This drawing explores one of four elements that have reoccured in my recent works, in this case: poetry, and the hand-written word.
These elements hold a kind of mystery, and become motifs that gather meaning for me - and others I hope - over time without being explicit.
These works used charcoal handmade by myself (using feijoa offcuts from my hometown), and a batch by Bryden Williams (using locally sourced timber varieties).
